FARGO – A second brew is on tap from the guys at Fargo Beer Co. that brought us Woodchipper.
The only locally owned beer company is set to release a smooth and malty ale called Stone’s Throw Scottish Ale on Dec. 2.
Aaron Hill, one of the company’s founder, said he was impressed with how well Woodchipper was received and expects Stone’s Throw will have even wider appeal.
“This style is much smoother,” he said. The new brew will be a little lighter and sweet, with hints of caramel.
Woodchipper, an Indian Pale ale, is available in 14 Fargo and West Fargo locations, and two Grand Forks restaurants.
Fargo Beer Co. will launch Stone’s Throw at 5 p.m. Dec. 2 at Rhombus Guys, 606 Main Ave., Fargo.
“It will literally be the first time anyone will be able to buy it,” Hill said.
