Grand Forks Woman Injured in Pickup-horse Collision

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A 50-year-old Grand Forks woman was injured as she struck a horse on Highway 2 east of Crookston, MN.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Joanne Butterfield sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Butterfield was driving west near the intersection of County Road 46 when she struck the horse just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The horse had gotten loose from a pasture about a half mile away. It was killed in the collision.
Butterfield's vehicle was totaled.
The accident is still under investigation.
