GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Fitness enthusiasts have another option for working out in Grand Forks.
Planet Fitness opened its doors on Wednesday.
It's located in the old Leever's Building on South Washington.
The facility has about 100 different pieces of exercise equipment and offers free fitness training for members.
Membership starts at $10 a month.
The gym also has tanning beds and massage chairs for members.
"Here we're the judgement-free zone, we don't cater to bodybuilders or powerlifters, we're geared towards general fitness. A lot of our members are first time gym users, so we really aim at making everyone feel comfortable while working out," Planet Fitness manager Emily Bakke said.
Planet Fitness also has a location in Fargo.
The Grand Forks location already has 800 members.
