Funeral Set For Friday For Frazee Wrestler Who Died After Crash

FRAZEE, MN (WDAZ-TV) - People in the Frazee community will say goodbye on Friday to a wrestler who passed away.
Myrel Schermerhorn lost his life after a weeks-long fight in the hospital.
He was in a car accident last month and was submerged under water for about 20 minutes.
Visitation is set for Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee. The memorial service will start at 6:30.
The funeral will be held Friday at noon at Frazee-Vergas High School.
