CRYSTAL LAKE, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Authorities there are racing against time in a dicey rescue operation.
A man fell through the ice on Crystal Lake near Pelican Rapids about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
He got himself out, but with the fog and cold, he was disoriented and stuck on the middle of the lake.
Rescue crews were called, but they too are in a precarious situation with poor ice conditions.
Despite the fact they have GPS coordinates and phone contact with the man, they haven't been able to get to him.
