Fire Damages Dryer at EGF American Crystal Plant

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Fire damaged a dryer at the American Crystal Sugar Plant in East Grand Forks on Tuesday.

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Fire damaged a dryer at the American Crystal Sugar Plant in East Grand Forks on Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the plant shortly before 3 p.m.

Some locked-out workers said they saw heavy smoke coming from the building.

American Crystal officials have told WDAZ in the past that dryer fires are a fairly common occurrence.
