Toy Drive Makes Merrier Christmas for Locked Out Workers' Children

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Children of locked-out American Crystal workers will have a merry Christmas thanks to a toy drive.
Locked-out workers unloaded toys from Duluth, Minneapolis, and the Iron Range Tuesday afternoon.
More than 500 kids and 900 grandkids will receive gifts.
Presents will go to locked-out families in Drayton, Hillsboro, Crookston, Moorehead, and East Grand Forks.
And even strangers have donated to the cause.
"Even the food drive helps a lot because especially with north dakota who's without unemployment and everything else this way we know that the kids and the grand children in those areas and our areas," drive coordinator Debra Kostrzewski said.
Locked-out parents say they're greatful their kids will be able to enjoy Christmas this year.
