Friday’s failed terror plot to bring down an airline landing in Detroit has meant an increase in security in the nation's Airports.

TSA has tightened security at the Grand Forks International Airport, but officials say it hasn't caused any real problems.

A spokesperson from the TSA says procedures for passengers have not changed, but there will be increased security measures, including pat downs, canines, and bag searches at all airports.

Some people flying out today in Grand Forks say the terrorist incident on Christmas didn't make them think twice about flying, and they had no problem with the extra security measures.

Those boarding international flights, including flights out of Canada, will be screened a second time at the gates. That has meant some longer lines there.
