CRESTON, Iowa (AP) — Republican Michele Bachmann is doing a Texas two-swipe in her push to gain ground before next week's presidential caucuses in Iowa.
The Minnesota congresswoman went after Texas Gov. Rick Perry for "27 years as a political insider" and said Texas Rep. Ron Paul would be "dangerous as president" because of his hands-off views on national security.
Bachmann strongly criticized both during her 86th stop on a tour of Iowa's 99 counties.
Perry is running a television ad in Iowa that lumps Bachmann in with other Washington figures seeking the GOP presidential nomination. Bachmann counters that Perry is a more entrenched politicians than she is.
