GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The National Weather Service in Grand Forks says some will see up to two inches of snow Wednesday night in parts of North Dakota and Minnesota.

Western parts of North Dakota saw light rain or a rain and snow mix Wednesday afternoon, causing some slick roads.

That mix will gradually change to all snow later Wednesday night and move from west to east.

One to two inches of snow are possible along a line from Devils Lake to Mayville and to Wadena, MN, by Thursday morning. Winds will remain light.

Drive safely as roads may become slick in spots.

There are more chances for snow Thursday through the weekend as NWS projects a series or low pressure systems to move across the northern plains brining snow mixed with rain. The greatest chance for precipitation is on Thursday.
