GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Mike Brown says he will run for his 4th consecutive term as Mayor of Grand Forks.

Brown has been mayor since 2000, which makes him the city's longest-serving mayor.

He says he's proud of growth in the community and the partnerships with the park district, county and city.

Brown still has more he wants to accomplish, helping the Community Foundation increase its role in funding projects.

"I think it's just wonderful we have all this communication going on and bridges built. I'd like to see what else we can accomplish and I think we can accomplish a great deal as a community," Brown said.

Brown's current term will end June 30, with the election on June 12.

Four council seats will be open as well.
