Idalski Serves One-game SuspensionUniversity of North Dakota Head Women’s Hockey Coach Brian Idalski served a one-game suspension on Saturday night.
University of North Dakota Head Women’s Hockey Coach Brian Idalski served a one-game suspension on Saturday night. The suspension was issued by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) due to a misinterpretation of an NCAA Bylaw during the 2010-11 season.
Idalski is not subject to any further NCAA or University disciplinary actions and the case was closed once the suspension was served.
“It is obviously disappointing I will not be on the bench for (Saturday’s) game, but I have accepted the NCAA’s decision and take responsibility for it,” Idalski said. “It was an inadvertent and isolated incident and I will accept the penalty and we will move on.”
