BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — An Oregon man has been charged in North Dakota with felony drug possession after law enforcement allegedly found nearly 45 pounds of marijuana in his car.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that 34-year-old Fu Wong was charged Friday with felony possession of 500 grams or more of marijuana with intent to deliver, two misdemeanor drug possession charges and a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

South Central District Judge Gail Hagerty set bond for Wong at $50,000 cash.

Authorities say Wu was driving along Interstate 49 in Mandan on Tuesday evening when a trooper pulled him over. The officer found 43 heat-sealed bags of marijuana in the car. The drugs have an estimated street value of $100,000.
