GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The police department is increasing the number of patrol near elementary schools in Grand Forks.
A larger than normal number of traffic and parking violations have been reported by police near schools recently.
The initiative is in place to insure the safety of children, teachers and staff and will continue indefinitely.
