Most of Region Under Dense Fog Advisory Tonight

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The National Weather Service says dense fog is expected Thursday night along and east of the Red River Valley and into western Minnesota lasting until 10 a.m. Friday.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The National Weather Service says dense fog is expected Thursday night along and east of the Red River Valley and into western Minnesota lasting until about 10 a.m. Friday.

Visibilities could be reduced to below one quarter mile, with near zero visibility at times.

Ice could also accumulate on untreated roads and bridges.

If you have to drive, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Cities affected are Crookston, East Grand Forks, Halstad, Moorhead, Hallock, Roseau, Baudette, Warren, Newfolden, Red Lake, Thief River Falls, Red Lake Falls, Fosston, Bagley, Bemidji, Mahnomen, Lake Itasca, Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes, Wolf Lake, Breckenridge, Fergus Falls, New York Mills, Wadena, Elbow Lake, Grand Forks, Cooperstown, Finley, Mayville, Valley City, Fargo, Lisbon, Gwinner, Wahpeton and surrounding areas.
