GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — University of North Dakota hockey coach Dave Hakstol says forward Brendan O'Donnell will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
The freshman from Winnipeg had five goals and one assist in 17 games this season.
He becomes the third Fighting Sioux forward to undergo season-ending surgery, joining Derek Rodwell and Rocco Grimaldi. Rodwell suffered a shoulder injury and Grimaldi a knee injury.
