GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A Reynolds, ND, woman was injured in a south Grand Forks rollover Saturday evening.
Police say Vivian F. Drees, 62, of rural Grand Forks, was in a 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer stopped facing south at the intersection of 32nd Ave. S. and S. 34th St. about a block west of Texas Roadhouse just after 6 p.m.
Candace A. Skavlem, 28, of Reynolds was driving an Oldsmobile Aurora east on 32nd Ave. when both she and Skavlem entered the intersection. Drees struck Skavlem's vehicle on the passenger side, causing the Chevy to flip onto its side.
Skavlem was taken in a private vehicle to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for non life-threatening injuries. Drees wasn't injured.
The accident remains under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact the Grand Forks Police Department at 787-8000.
