Hundreds of farmers braved the wintry weather today to attend the Lake Region Extension Roundup.

The annual event brings producers out to hear the latest about the farming business and technology. They attend presentations and meet with experts and company representatives. Today farmers learned about herbicides, sunflowers, and trends in the livestock industry. Many people come back to the roundup each year.

Lee Dahl/AGRONOMIST: "[It] ends up being a nice place to meet with some food, good food, good for information about upcoming events, upcoming topics, grain marketing, anywhere from grain marketing to seed."

People working at the roundup say there was a good turnout despite the snow.
