EAST GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The state License Center in East Grand Forks is getting a $30,000 facelift, adding space for both workers and customers.

The remodeling started Friday and will last about a week.

Another terminal, work spaces for customers and more seating is being added to the center inside the Hardware Hank store.

The store's owner says sometimes the line of people buying licenses is out the door and they want to make it faster and more convenient for customers.

"What we want to do is remodel the office space so that there's more room for customers inside the office space. We will also add one more work terminal so we can accommodate more people with more employees," Hardware Hank owner Craig Buckalew said.

Construction is expected to be finished February 21.
