Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Minnesota Backyard
A pilot safely landed a small plane in McLeod County after experiencing mechanical failure.
A pilot safely landed a small plane in McLeod County after experiencing mechanical failure.
Sheriff's officials say contact with the plane was lost several miles from the Glencoe Airport Wednesday afternoon. A short time later, the sheriff's department received a report that the plane had landed in a backyard.
Flight instructor Marsha McCalla of Minnetonka made the emergency landing. The FAA is investigating.
