2 GF Businesses Fail Alcohol Compliance Check

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Two local businesses failed the latest alcohol compliance carried out by the Grand Forks Police Department.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Two local businesses failed the latest alcohol compliance carried out by the Grand Forks Police Department.

30 business were checked on Friday, February 17 and of those, Big D's Bar and Ozark Liquors in Walmart failed the checks.

Alcohol compliance checks are done on a regular basis throughout Grand Forks and any business with a liquor license is subject to testing.

An underage person, in cooperation with law enforcement officers, attempts to buy alcohol in a licensed business and, if the person is served, the server is cited and the business notified of the failure.

Furnishing or delivering alcohol to a minor is a criminal offense. A business charged with serving alcohol to minors is subject to sanctions by the licensing authority.
