MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Bedbugs have infested a low-income Minot apartment building that is home to the elderly and the disabled, and residents aren't happy.
Henry Towers resident Brian Neal tells the Minot Daily News (http://bit.ly/A3UNZA) that he can't have visitors, and he's started sleeping in the bathtub with a towel sealing the bathroom door. He calls it "torment."
Building owner and manager Tony Kulig declined comment about the insects. Minot Housing Authority Director Tom Pearson says bedbugs are a common pest that can be addressed.
Eighty-nine-year-old resident Dorothy Wagar says she invested $50 in bug sprays but can't afford to replace furniture to ensure eradication of the bugs.
