GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - We have new information this evening on a Delta Airlines flight from Grand Forks to Minneapolis cancelled after a flight attendant was taken off the job.

A police report indicates a 51-year-old flight attendant from a Minneapolis suburb had consumed alcohol.

It states that after a passenger from a previous flight smelled alcohol on her breath, she informed the pilots. Airport Security then assisted with the matter.

Police say the flight attendant failed sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of .186.

During a sweep of the airplane, police say three empty 50 millileter bottles of vodka were found in a trash bag.

Authorities say there was no documentation that any alcohol was served to passengers on the flight.

The flight attendant did not violate any city or state laws, so officers turned her over to the airline.

The incident is still being investigated.
