Bail Set at $7,500 For GF Burger King Robbery Suspect

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A man who allegedly attempted to rob a Burger King in Grand Forks made his initial appearance in court.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A man who allegedly attempted to rob a Burger King in Grand Forks made his initial appearance in court.

22-year-old Drew Marvin Smith of Ada, MN, is facing charges of attempted robbery, terrorizing and simple assault.

Bail has been set for $7,500.

He initially refused to cooperate or give police his name, but said later he was Drew Smith.

Two male Burger King employees were able to detain Smith until police arrived. He was not armed.

Smith's next court appearance is April 16.
