(WDAZ-TV) - Snow is expected in northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota late Saturday night or early Sunday, WDAZ meteorologist John Wheeler said.

Friday should be mostly cloudy and a bit colder in the morning in the low teens and warming up to the low 20s by late afternoon. A few snow flurries are possible Friday.

On Saturday night, Wheeler says snow should develop in western North Dakota and move into the eastern part of the state by Sunday. He says there is the potential for 4-8 inches or possibly 5-10 inches of snow, but it was a little too early Thursday night to nail down the amount of precipitation or exactly where the snow will fall.
