Man, 22, Held in Minnesota Jail Dies

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 22-year-old St. Cloud man who was being held in the Stearns County Jail.
Correctional officers were called to a medical emergency at the jail just after 8:30 a.m. Friday. The sheriff's office says Jerome Harrell was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Harrell was being held on a Hennepin County arrest warrant.
The sheriff's office says no further details will be released until the investigation is complete.
