MOORHEAD – Police say a 15-year-old boy called in a bogus pizza order to a south Moorhead address Friday night and stole the delivery driver’s car when he showed up.

The Domino’s driver was sent to the address in the 3000 block of 18th Street South at 8:40 p.m. He went to the door and when he returned to where he’d parked his car, it was gone, Lt. Tory Jacobson said.

About two hours later, a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper saw the 1994 gold Cadillac on Interstate 29 and pulled it over, Jacobson said.

The teenager, who had been reported as a runaway, was taken to Cass County Juvenile Detention in Fargo on suspicion of possession of stolen property, giving a false name and date of birth and on a warrant for fifth-degree assault.

The Cadillac was towed back to Moorhead.
