BLOMKEST, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have pulled a body from the rubble of a house that apparently exploded and caught fire in west-central Minnesota.
Blomkest firefighters were called Wednesday afternoon to the house fire on Big Kandiyohi Lake.
Officials say the initial investigation points to an explosion followed by a fire that destroyed the house. During a search, an unidentified body was found in the ruins.
KSAX-TV reports the Minnesota state fire marshal's office and the Kandiyohi County sheriff's office are investigating.
