GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Tanner Purintun scored 32 points to lead Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock to a 68-43 win over Divide County Saturday in the seventh-place game at the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.
Purintun was 14-for-28 from the field for the Lions (18-9). He added nine rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Purintun was the only Linton player to reach double figures in scoring. He had 18 points as the Lions raced out to a 33-16 halftime lead.
Divide County (18-10) got 25 points and 17 rebounds from Andreas Holm.
The Maroons shot just 29 percent from the field. They hit only one of 18 3-point attempts.
