BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is giving the weekly national Republican radio address on Saturday.

Dalrymple will talk about the need to build the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to the Gulf Coast.

The pipeline will transport Canadian oil from Alberta that's produced from tar sands. It will also be able to ship some North Dakota-produced crude oil to refineries.

President Obama has refused to approve construction of the Keystone pipeline. North Dakota officials have been vocal advocates for the pipeline.

In January, North Dakota U.S. Sen. John Hoeven devoted the weekly Republican radio address to arguing in favor of the Keystone pipeline.
