Healthy Living Expo Brings Hundreds to Alerus Center

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - More than 2,200 people packed the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Saturday afternoon for the Healthy Living Expo.
Folks from all over came to learn what can be changed about their daily diet and exercise routine to become more healthy.
Altru, Snap Fitness and Amazing Grains were just a few of the many presenters.
Companies say this expo is important because just a few small changes can easily boost a person's lifestyle.
"We have healthy foods every day at our store. We have a ton of bulk items, grains and rices that people can come in and buy and a huge variety of organic produce as well," Heather Schneider with Amazing Grains said.
Amazing Grains also did a demonstration on how to make hummus.
