BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Freshman Fallyn Freije had 21 points and 20 rebounds Friday to lead Lakota-Adams-Edmore to a 55-45 win over New Town in the consolation round of the North Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
Freije made 10 of 14 shots from the field, hauled in five offensive rebounds, blocked three shots and dished out three assists for the Raiders (22-5). She helped LAE shoot 50 percent from the field and outrebound the Eagles 44-31.
Ashtin Freije had 10 points, six assists and six rebounds. The Raiders led 31-22 at the half.
Taylor McGrady was the only New Town (24-2) player in double figures with 10 points. The Eagles have lost two straight games after coming in unbeaten.
