GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Aspiring actors and actresses from Red River High School are teaching local elementary students some valuable character lessons.
This is the 21st season the Summer Performing Arts kids performed in Grand Forks elementary schools and taken their show on the road to Northwood, Larimore and Hatton.
The focus of this year's presentation is tolerance and the importance of literacy.
"It's presented in a way that they can understand and take it with them and share it with their families and share it with their friends," director Allison Peterson said.
Last year, more than 7,000 students viewed the performances.
