Greenbush-based Central Boiler, Inc. gave over $1.2 million in profit-sharing to its 220 employees in December. Owners Dennis and Terri Brazier announced the bonus at the company's annual profit-sharing meeting in December.

The company says each employee’s bonus check is based on the length of their employment with the company, hours worked, company profit and

safety record.

"Safety is important in the work environment. I

am proud of the effort and the dedication each employee takes to make our safety record what it is," owner Dennis Brazier said in a media release.

Central Boiler also matched the contributions employees made to their 401K accounts from their bonus. The profit share, safety bonus, and employer contributions to the employee 401K accounts totaled more than $1.2 million dollars.

The Greenbush-based company makes outdoor furnaces.
