GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The UND ROTC just earned a big honor. A first place win at a regional competition means the Task Force Ranger Challenge team is going to an international competition next month.
The nine-member team competed against 40 other ROTC universities at Fort Dodge in Iowa.
The competition included one day of physical and mental challenges including obstacle courses and medical-oriented drills.
After pulling that win, the team is headed to West Point Military Academy to compete against teams from Australia, Canada, Britain, Israel and other countries.
