Early Spring Has Boat Buyers Ready

DEVILS LAKE, ND (WDAZ-TV) - Outdoor enthusiasts were already taking home toys from the Lake Region's largest boat show before the doors opened on Friday.
The Lake Region Boat Show opened its doors at 5 p.m. Friday. But Red Steagall with Lake Region RV says demand was too much to keep the doors closed.
He had sold an RV to a man from Manitoba four hours before the show began.
He says the early spring gives people the itch to buy, and he expects a lot of them at the show this weekend.
"I'm not really sure of the attendance, but it's gonna be a lot of people coming through the door," Steagall said.
The boat show runs through Sunday at Burdick Arena in Devils Lake.
