GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — University of North Dakota hockey standouts Jocelyne and Monique Lamoureux have been chosen to represent their country again.
The twin sisters from Grand Forks have been picked for the U.S. team that will play in the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship. The tournament starts Saturday in Burlington, Vt., and runs through April 14. The 23 members of the U.S. squad were chosen after a selection camp in Lake Placid, N.Y., that began late last month.
The Lamoureux forwards have played on national teams before. They won silver medals with the U.S. team at the 2010 Olympics.
