(WDAZ-TV) - A local author is set to unveil her most recent novel, which is the only one set in North Dakota.

North Dakota native Paula Winskye is releasing her eleventh novel next month.

The book is called "The Reverend: Murder in Medora," and it's set in Medora, North Dakota.

It's the fourth book in her "Tony Wagner Mystery Series".

Winskye lives in Sheyenne, but has written books set around the country. She says most of her fans are here in North Dakota, so it was only natural to take her characters there as well.

"My fans really like my books no matter what, where I set them. But I'm hoping to actually get new fans my setting this in North Dakota," Winskye said.

Winskye says her next project is a novel aimed at young adult readers.

The book won't be published until next month, but you can pre-order copies at Books To Go in Devils Lake until April 20.
