(WDAZ-TV) - A Grand Forks woman accused of causing a February Gateway Drive crash that led to the death of an Inkster woman pleaded not guilty today to two charges.

26-year-old Ebony Miles is charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.

Miles was driving on Gateway near the Budget Inn Express when she pulled from a side street in front of Umphrey's car. Miles fled the scene but was arrested a short while later by the motel.

A week after the crash, 63-year-old Florence Humphrey died from her injuries.

Miles is being held without bond because she broke the terms of her release by testing positive for alcohol.

She could face up to 15 years in jail on the charges.
