EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - The Sacred Heart Eagles are off to a fast start and 4-0 with experience and a well-rounded attack to thank.

A lot of familiar names and faces are on the team as the Eagles return six starters from last year's squad including their pitching staff.

"We preach pitch well, play great defense, string some hits together and really the formula has been right on spot so far. We've got contributions in every game from really everyone in my lineup. We've got really good pitching performances in all four ball games. We've played really outstanding defense," Sacred Heart coach Craig Pietruszewski said.

"We had a lot of work in the offseason by a lot of players. It wasn't just one person, it was a team effort and I think this year we are approaching games better by concentrating more and getting focused a little bit," Sacred Heart senior Zak Kuznia said.

"We have a lot of experience coming back. We know what to do, we know how each other communicate on the team. We just know what to do, we know how other people react to the ball. Basically like brothers out there, we know what each other does," Sacred Heart senior Corey Roach said.
