DEVILS LAKE (WDAZ-TV) - Construction is more than half-way done for the new Altru clinic in Devils Lake. The $10.3 million project began last August.
The new building will offer more space in hallways, exam rooms and waiting rooms. Clinic Manager Brett Travica says the project remains on schedule, and he urges patients to be patient while construction continues.
He says current conditions aren't ideal, but with Mother Nature's cooperation, the project should be done on time.
"The pleasant winter has been very fortunate for us with moving a lot of those things. We're still hopeful we'll be moving into the new building in early September," Travica said.
Once they move into the new building, the old clinic will be renovated and should be ready for patients around the start of next year.
