Study: GF Losing Millions Due to Lack of Ice Arenas
(WDAZ-TV) - Grand Forks loses out on an estimated $4 million each year due to a lack of ice arenas in town. That's according to an economic impact study on youth hockey by UND Workforce Development.

That's according to an economic impact study on youth hockey by UND Workforce Development.
The study showed families usually spend around $700 for three-day travel expenses that include lodging, fuel and shopping.
A proposed $7 million youth ice arena would include two indoor and two outdoor rinks built near Choice Health and Fitness.
