2 Sentenced to Probation For Fort Totten Tribal Theft

(WDAZ-TV) - Two people from Fort Totten, ND, have been sentenced to two years probation on charges of theft from an Indian Tribal Organization.

(WDAZ-TV) - Two people from Fort Totten, ND, have been sentenced to two years probation on charges of theft from an Indian Tribal Organization.

38-year-old Justin Yankton must serve that probation, pay more than $6,000 in fines and restitution and do 200 hours of community service.

29-year-old Brooke Black will serve probation, pay nearly $5,000 in fines and restitution and complete 60 community service hours.

The two shared a residence. They knowingly and wrongly received funding energy assistance.
