Man Hurt; 8 Cattle Dead in Rugby Accident

A man is hurt and 8 head of cattle are dead after an accident south of Rugby.

A semi-driver is hurt and 8 head of cattle are dead after an accident south of Rugby.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Leroy Vidal was driving a semi south on ND 3 Monday night from Brandon Manitoba. His semi was pulling a trailer full of 45 head of cattle. Vidal's semi drifted to the right, and when he tried to correct the vehicle it, and the cattle trailer rolled. Vidal was taken to the Rugby hospital for observation. Eight of the 45 head of cattle were killed in the crash. The semi was totalled.
