GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - U.S. House candidate Pam Gulleson listened to Grand Forks seniors' concerns about Medicare and Social Security on Tuesday.
Gulleson hosted a roundtable discussion at the Bridgestone Condos and although many seniors talked about how the Medicare program worked for them, many had other concerns.
Seniors talked about having to pay higher premiums than ever before and how it affects families.
Gulleson said it's important to hear from the people of North Dakota and what concerns they want represented in Washington.
"It provides them with the kind of economic security that they wouldn't have under just a regular retirement. With Medicare, which provides health care, to them it's a peace of mind," Gulleson said.
The candidate also stopped in Fargo to hear from seniors.
