Students at Central Middle School in Devils Lake raised so much money for the relief effort in Haiti that their principal shaved his head!
Their goal was to raise 5-thousand dollars by selling raffle tickets.
If they reached their goal...principal Josh Johnson would shave his head in front of the whole school.
Students watched, some held signs that said "do the buzz."
They raised more than 15-thousand dollars...and three other faculty members shaved their heads too.
The money went to the Salvation Army to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.
Parker Hoey: "I was really nervous before I started because I didn't really know how, but it was easier than I thought it would be."
Raffle tickets were for a 32 inch flat screen T-V or a one-night getaway to the Spirit Lake Resort.
