Grand Forks Group Planning Half-marathon

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Grand Forks looks to be getting in on the Maratho craze. A group is beginning to organize a new half-marathon with a goal to attract runners from around the world.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Grand Forks looks to be getting in on the Maratho craze.

A group is beginning to organize a new half-marathon with a goal to attract runners from around the world. The race is scheduled for September 27 through 29.

The group expects between 700 and 1,500 runners. The race will start and finish near Wild Hog on S. Washington St. and the route will weave through the city.
