UMC Names New Chancellor

CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A new chancellor has been named for the University of Minnesota's campus in Crookston. Fred Wood comes to the school from the University of California-Davis.

CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A new chancellor has been named for the University of Minnesota's campus in Crookston.

Fred Wood comes to the school from the University of California-Davis, where he has been Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.

Wood has spent most of his academic career at UC Davis. He will begin his Crookston job in July pending approval by the university's Board of Regents.

He succeeds Charles H. Casey, who is retiring.
