3 Sioux Baseball Players Named to Great West All-conference Team

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - On the eve of the Great West Conference Tournament, three Sioux baseball players have been named to the all-conference team.
Freshman Jeff Campbell is the biggest winner. The Florida native is the conference newcomer of the year and he makes the first team.
Campbell ranked second in the conference with eleven home runs and on the mound, he tied for the conference lead with five complete games.
Campbell enters the tournament with a 314 batting average and a team-high 41 runs batted in.
Also, freshman pitcher Andrew Thome and senior third baseman Kyle Bolander are on the all-conference second team. The Sioux open the tournament Tuesday morning playing NJIT in Orem, UT.
