ND Man Pleads Not Guilty to Shocking Woman With Cattle Prod

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck man accused of shocking his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod in a dispute involving money has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck man accused of shocking his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod in a dispute involving money has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.

Thirty-seven-year-old Christopher Martin is charged with aggravated assault-domestic violence as well as felony drug offenses. The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/JauFzy ) that he also pleaded guilty earlier to misdemeanor drug offenses.

Martin is accused of going to the woman's home on April 1, claiming she had stolen $500 from him and using a 5-foot-long cattle prod to shock her, causing pain and leaving marks.
